This sideways knit scarf is long and versatile with a linen stitch center and striped ruffle, punctuated with lines of slipped stitches.

MATERIALS YARN: Three Irish Girls Kells Sport (100% Merino, 320 yds / 3.5 oz): 1 skein each in Ryan (MC) and Enna (CC)
NEEDLES: 48” circular needle in US 8 (5 mm) and 5 (3.5 mm) OR sizes required to obtain gauge. For optional single crochet edge on the ends of the scarf you'll also need a crochet hook in the size equivalent to your smaller needle. This is an “F” hook for a US 5 (3.5 mm) needle.
NOTIONS: darning needle for weaving in ends.
