Vertical Stripe Quick Scarf

I love linen stitch! It’s so easy and quick, and with this hefty yarn you can make a whole scarf in very little time at all. I got two scarves out of one ball, but you could make a wider or longer one if you liked. I chose to do it long-ways, to get the vertical stripe, partly because that’s a bit unusual and looks good and partly because the colour change on this yarn (which I bought on a whim) is quite long, so if I did it the other way it would be big blocks of colour with sudden changes, which I didn’t want.
