Veluma is a secret wink between threads: a pattern inspired by the gifts knitted with love and given in silence, like in a game of Secret Santa. Its name comes from velum, Latin for “veil”: something that covers, protects, or hints.

Construction Notes
The shawl is knitted from one tip to the other lengthwise, with increases in first half and decreases in second half. At both ends, a wavy lace pattern is worked, which defines the shawl’s character.
