The look as shown is accomplished with just one special yarn skein arranged so that your changes in textures, colors and even yarn weights happen automatically. Just start at either end of the skein and keep knitting.... Of course it is also a great project to use up your yarn stash, even your leftovers in 7 portions of 34 yards each.
