Tylluan Tunic Top

A knitting pattern to knit a seamless top down top, sweater, for babies and children to age 7. Tylluan is a raglan yoke pattern knitted from the top down with a lovely square neck, back button fastener, and an owl cable insert. Instructions 6 sizes are given from 0-6mths to 6 -7yrs, and it is suitable for girls and boys. It is a great coverup for spring and summer days when you need a light extra layer - make it in cotton for warmer days and wool for cooler days.

Tylluan is easy to follow and the sweater works up quickly too - a great design for all seasons. A pattern that grows with your little one, as the top down design means that you can make it just the length you want. Make it longer for a dress that then becomes a tunic as your child grows! With 6 sizes it is also a pattern that can be used again as your child grows!

You will need to be able to knit in the round to make this seamless design - and if you have never tried knitting in the round, this would make a great first project.
