Knitting pattern for Winter mittens with pockets & tiny teddy bears, designed with my little Granddaughters in mind. They love to take along a little "friend" when they go out on trips which has on occasion ended up with them forgetting and then losing a favourite plaything. These little teddies can, if required, be secured to the inside of the pocket so there is less chance of them being mislaid.
This is a one-ball pattern; all the sizes can be made using 50g of yarn or less.
The mittens & teddies are worked mainly in Stocking Stitch (1 row Knit, 1 row Purl) on straight, single point needles and seamed together. Some finishing off of the teddies is required (adding toy filling & sewing on features). The pattern should be suitable for an intermediate knitter or confident beginner.
Instructions are given in four sizes, to suit ages 3 years to adult.
The pattern is in PDF format, on 6 pages, with row by row instructions & illustrations to assist.
