Product Details
This is my take on the old string bag. I know there are some great string bag patterns out there but I felt compelled to come up with my own version with a Shetland touch. This bag is worked entirely in the round beginning with a circular cast on. The stretchy lace pattern is a basic Shetland lace that shows garter bumps. Gauge is not crucial as the bag stretches a lot. Techniques used, Circular Knitting, Lace, Emily Ocker Circular Cast On and Applied I-cord. I'd rate this as advanced beginner. The samples shown are knit with Elisebeth Lavold, Hempathy.
