Cable needle or cable stitch holder. Crochet hook 2 mm for Italian cast on. Scrap yarn; stitch markers. Tapestry needle. Gauge: 26 sts x 32 rows = 2.5 sq inches (10 cm x 10 cm) on US 2½ (3 mm) needles and 328 yards / 100 gr (300 m / 100 gr) yarn. 22 sts x 30 rows = 2.5 sq inches (10 cm x 10 cm) on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles and 220 yards / 100 gr (200 m / 100 gr) yarn.
