The Pencil Case
I have childhood memories of watching catchphrase on early Saturday evening TV. There’s something weirdly refreshing about taking things literally. "Say what you see". That was the... well, the catchphrase of the show. It was also the inspiration for this pattern.
A pencil-pencil case - a simple, quick, fun and useful crochet project.
That said, this isn’t limited to holding pencils, it would also make a great crochet hook holder for crochet on the go!
Skill Level This pattern uses simple stitches, increasing and decreasing and colour work. It is suitable for a beginner crocheter with some experience.
You will need to be able to sew in the zip
Materials: Worsted Weight cotton yarn in yellow (30g) and black (20g) and a 4.5mm hook
This pattern is also available free on my blog.
