The book is made in China. That could be troubling for us here ' across the pond ' - in other words in the USA. The rights and use disclaimers are a paralegals dream. Love the pictures, and the unique needlework. There are detailed instructions on how to make a few of the items. I have not tried them yet, but on first glance, they look doable. The recipe for dyes looks great. I intend to try it with natural herbs. The conclusion sums up the book quite nicely, and a concept I have followed. I sort of wish this book were written 20 years ago when I started experimenting with textiles and was also doing volunteer work in the local community theater as a props person. Then I ventured away from stitching, only to find it again 10 years later with an art show submission of an embroidery work based on The Faire Queene by Spencer (an adult enrichment course I was taking at the time). Now, Once again Stitches have found me - they have entered my journey many times, but will they actually stay ... I do not know.
