The historic Old Shale lace pattern, also known as Feather & Fan, combined with a simple garter stitch border creates a pretty little blanket for a large baby doll or newborn baby. Or choose one of the larger sizes for a childâs or adult afghan. Extra stitches on the side borders (short rows) ensure that the edge is neat and straight. Design is knit flat in your choice of 6 different sizes.
