I would definitely recommend this pattern! It's easy to work, even for a beginner, and instructions are easy to follow. I worked this pattern using different colors, and it's very easy to simply use whatever colour you choose, with just a lighter shade of whatever colour as the contrasting shade. It'll look beautiful!
