Soft and easy to work with
I love Aran wool, and Stylecraft Aran wool is so soft and very easy to work with. I'm currently working on a blanket for a friend. The yarn is really easy to work with, the best I’ve used so far. It works very well.
Perfect yarn for all my projects
I have been buying this yarn for a long time now for both knitting and crocheting blankets, throws, soft toys, and children's clothes. I keep coming back to it for several reasons: it's lightweight, it comes in many colours, it's well-priced but doesn't feel like a cheap yarn, it's nice and soft to work with and doesn't split, it wears well, and because it's acrylic, it can be easily washed. I use it for snuggle rugs for my 4 grandchildren. They love them and wrap up in them to watch TV or read...
Great for crochet projects
It’s comfortable to work with, and it produces a nice even tension. It gives a nice result with knitting and crochet. I'm crocheting a Christmas tree skirt for a display in our village library. It feels nice slipping through my fingers and holds the stitches well.
I love the way it knits up each time. It has a gorgeous texture when doing Tunisian crochet projects for those really cold months. It washes extremely well and retains it's shape too. Lovely colour palette to choose from. Definitely a repeat purchase.
Soft and durable yarn for baby projects
It is lovely and soft for a baby jacket. It is great to work with. It doesn’t split and no breaks in yarn.
Love Stylecraft Aran
Stylecraft Special Aran is my “go-to” for the dog snoods I knit for a greyhound rescue charity. It’s excellent quality, with no knots and no thinning. I’ve had no reports of it being itchy for the dogs that they’re bought for. It washes beautifully, maintains the colour and shape.

Great selection and love the sales
This is my go to yarn for my Amigurumi making. Gives nice clean tight stitches and the little bit of fuzziness you might get is easily cleaned up with a lighter since it is 100% acrylic. Great selection of colours and such an affordable price, with minimum snagging/splitting.
