Dinos appeal to kids of all ages, this Dinotastic sweater is sized up to 11 years.
Stomp like a Dino is bound to make any child’s jaw drop at the sight of their very own dinosaur sweater! The main body and sleeves are worked in intarsia, or you could work the sports from the chart in duplicate stitch when the front is finished, if you find bobbins of yarn hanging at the back awkward. The pattern now includes a 2 page chart for the Sleeves, making it larger and easier to work.
The legs are created separately and appliqued on for a cool 3D effect, and there is no reason not to play around with your creature’s colours – pink with purple spots anyone?
Knit in DK weight yarn from the bottom up, seamed with a drop shoulder construction this sweater is a nice simple construction.

Lovely pattern but I did amend slightly. I graduated the fins, knitted allninnone colour and changed the tail . Also knitted tge button and buttonhole bands in same colour as the fins. Also doubled the hood band and folded over.
A fun pattern which my grandson will benefit from! I'm sure he'll love the jumper.
