Yarn: YarnArt Jeans – 50g/160m (1.76 oz/174 yds) 50% cotton, 50% acrylic turquoise (color 76) – 1.2 ball natural (color 03) – 0.5 ball. Cotton gold batik – 100g/330m 55% cotton, 45% acrylic mint (color 6521) – 0.3 ball, or any sport weight yarn.
Skill level: intermediate.
Materials needed: 2.0 mm hook (1 US), 2.5 mm hook (C/2 US), yarn needle, scissors, stuffing material (holofiber is recommended), black safety eyes (8 mm), sewing pins, black embroidery thread, stitch marker.
Sizing: blanket - 41 cm (16 inches) diagonally across.
Gauge: head: 7 sts x 7 rows = 1x1”/2.5x2.5 cm
