Product Details
This lovely hat, scarf and gloves pattern uses simple knit and purl stitches to create the 'Squares in Squares' texture. It is a unisex design made to fit an adult and is very cosy as it is knitted in chunky/bulky weight yarn.
The pattern is fairly straightforward but due to the hat and gloves being working in the round, I would suggest that some experience with DPN's or circular needles would be helpful. It is an enjoyable pattern to knit as the geometric pattern stands out immediately, and as it is worked on chunky yarn it's satisfyingly quick to knit.
It can be worked in any yarn so long as you are able to check your tension and ensure that you have the correct yardage. I used Wendy Quasar Chunky for the set pictured, it also works perfectly in King Cole Ultra Soft Chunky as the tension is the same. You will need at least 4 balls of 100g to finished the pattern.
