A very good pattern to knit. The charts are easy to read and I am very pleased with the mittens I have made.

These spooky fairisle mitts (fingerless gloves) are worked in the round from cuff to palm and feature a repeating skull design. Super cosy and perfect for winter. A pair of mitts can be knitted with two 50g balls of 4-ply yarn (one of each colour), leaving plenty to spare for other projects, so they are affordable to make and make perfect gifts. Would look wonderful in a variety of colour combinations.
Suggested yarn: Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Bravo Baby. Shown in colours Schwarz (01099) and Grau (01090).
Each mitt measures approximately 18cm (7 ¼ inches) from cuff to palm edge.
You will also need:-
- 1 set of circular needles size 2mm (US0) or size needed to match gauge
- 1 darning/wool needle for weaving in ends
- Stitch markers
- Stitch holder / scrap yarn
