Product Details
This started as a doodle that reminded me of water splashing on the ground. Then it started getting complicated...
You need 2 colors of lace or light fingering yarn, each about 800-1000 yds (732-914 m). The sample used a cotton/silk blend.
This could easily be a scarf by changing the cast-on. Opened flat the cowl is 68 inches long. Doing it as a cowl requires a provisional cast-on and grafting of 4 ends (2 each color). Instructions are given for doing 3 repeats of the "splash" spaced with background lines.
This pattern is primarily charts. There are charts for doing the design as stranded / intarsia as well as double-knit.
