Pattern Difficulty Level: Intermediate
The pattern has instructions to make amigurumis just like in the pictures. There are written instructions along with many photos for reference.
Using a worsted weight yarn or cotton, the amigurumi will have approximately 15cm/6inches of height (not including ears/horns/etc).
Materials needed:
- Yarns:
Sonic: Blue, light yellow, white, red, black.
Tails: Light orange, white, red, gray, black.
Knuckles: Red, white, light yellow, yellow, gray, green, black.
- Crochet hook
- Safety eyes
- Polyester fiberfill stuffing
- Tapestry needles for sewing
- Scissors
- Stitch markers
- Hot glue

Fun, creative pattern
I found these patterns easy to follow and the instructions were clear and helpful. I was able to effectively sew on all the spikes making them more secure, without having to glue some on as the original pattern suggested. I made each of these three characters and was then able to edit and adapt the Sonic pattern to create a Shadow as well, per my grandson’s request. The kids loved them and the well written patterns made making them enjoyable. I’d love to see more patterns like this set! Thanks...
