The Slow Motion is a truly versatile shawl design that is knit in a simple yet classic rectangular shape. The combination of a rib stitch and mesh stitch in one creates columns of openwork stitches that move gracefully from side to side in a slow motion dance. An added bonus is that the stitch pattern used in this design is reversible.
The shawl looks its best when stretched and blocked with wires or/and pins to make an airy and light open fabric. Another option is to block this accessory lightly in order to preserve the volume created by the rib stitch component and wear it as a scarf.
