Slice of Light

The shawl is knit in different textures and gauges. It starts with a large-gauge biased triangle, knit with one strand of fingering weight and one strand of lace weight mohair held together in a large rib pattern. After picking stitches up from one of the triangle‘s sides, the shawl is then knit top-down at a smaller gauge in one- and two-color brioche and garter stitch short-row stripes. An i-cord surrounds the entire shawl for a clean and finished look.

Yarn: 2 colors of fingering weight + 1 color of Mohair Lace

Yardage: 366 m / 400 yards of Color A, 420 m / 460 yards of Color B, 366 m / 400 yards in Color C

Gauge: 17 sts / 42 rows = 10 cm / 4” in garter stitch with fingering weight & 4 mm needles

Das Dreieckstuch wird in breitem Rippenmuster, ein- und zweifarbigem Patent und verkürzten Reihen gearbeitet. Dabei werden unterschiedliche Garnstärken kombiniert. So entsteht ein fluffiges Tuch, dass im Nu gestrickt ist - und dabei nicht langweilig wird!
