I crochet and this is my first knitting try. Please do not judge the mistakes. The yarn is smooth and soft and does not split easily. The yarn is marketed as non pilling and so far so good. The yarn is very dense round so you will not get the nice flat v’s that meld into one another. I have no experience with blocking so this item is done with no blocking (it’s just a hand towel). Hope this helps anyone thinking to purchase
