Sestra, which means “sister” in Slavic languages, is a simple bonnet that is perfect for the whole family. It has an interesting construction that is fun to make and lovely to wear. It is completely seamless and, thanks to short rows, it has tighter elastic ribbing at the back for a better fit around the head, which means warm ears and a bonnet that stays put!
