Lovely, soft cotton yarn. Good choice for learning to crochet.
I am an absolute beginner and my handling of yarn is far from perfect. What I can say is Schweppes Cotton 8 is very soft to crochet with. I can achieve fabulous stitch definition when my tension is under control. I have ‘frogged’ A LOT and this caused the yarn strands to unwind somewhat, making it harder for me crochet neatly, however a pointy crochet hook helps me to pick up the yarn better. I haven’t washed any of the samples I’ve made yet but I imagine being 100% cotton, they’d come out...
A go to fingering cotton yarn for me. Great range of colors, works up easily. Doesn't split unless you've ripped it out multiple times and have lost the twist. Washes and dries nicely and lasts forever.
