uses U.S crochet terms

uses aran weight/worsted yarn

and 6.5mm hook .

for 0-3 months size 100g aran weight/worsted yarn for 3-6 months size 150g aran weight/worsted yarn for 6-12 months size 200g aran weight/worsted yarn

this poncho makes up really quickly and uses a larger hook so is soft and warm. a good beginner project that uses basic crochet stitches and popcorn stitch which is very easy to do and has full instructions in the pattern. the poncho looks fabulous on its own or can be dressed with pom poms , bows or even buttons.
