Very cute design and overall easy to follow. It’s got really interesting stitches and makes a much more interesting hat. But a few things that can be improved- the “fake stitch” instructions were really confusing and I never quite figured it out. Also given it is a reversible hat would’ve appreciated more tips on how to hide the yarn ends as there are a lot of them. Would’ve also liked more guidance on how to decide whether to make a s m or l hat (IE some other patterns would say should be 70%...

This slouch beanie pattern comes with two pages worth of tips and tricks to help you with construction. Although the pattern is only written in one size it can easily be adjusted in size. The how-to is explained in the pattern. You will need one ball each of three different colours and should be able to make two beanies out of them. The beanie is unisex, although for most men it will probably have to be enlarged a bit. The pattern is made up of front post stitches, front/back loop stitches as well as slip stitches. Other than the regulars: sc, hdc and dc stitches.
