One is A4 size in portrait layout with typed knitting instructions for the cuffs and mitt shaping and also includes a chart for the cuffs and the other is in landscape layout with charts in symbols for the main part of the gloves.
I'm a novice knitter and the pattern was very easy to follow. I surprised myself with what I could do and how they turned out. I used some DK wool that I had and knitted them in green but kept more or less to the puffin colours. They have been much admired by my fellow birders.
