Back in spring, I sat under a blooming magnolia tree. The elongated, pear-shaped flowers were amazingly abundant and quite fascinating in their form and colors. This inspired me to design the Piccolo Pyrus cowl in which a lace pattern with a pear-shaped form, opening and closing, takes center stage. The cowl features an asymmetric patterning with a lace edging reminiscent of petals opening to the skies. This creates two different borders: a wavy lower edge and an upper edge with small crests. The Piccolo Pyrus cowl is perfect for some precious hand-dyed skeins that will showcase the lace pattern to its best with their subtle color variations. Wrap your neck warm and in style during the cold season!
