Product Details

Pekhom shawl is a crescent shaped lace shawl inspired by Peacock Feather. In Bengali, the word “PEKHOM” means “tail feathers of a peacock”, in other words “a peacock’s train or fan, especially when spread open”. PEKHOM shawl is the interpretation of the beauty and texture of peacock’s train. This shawl can give you an opportunity to celebrate the colors of life. You can embellish this shawl with beads and tassels.

NOTES

1. Shawl border: Shawl border begins with k3, yo and ends with yo, k3 on every RS row; on WS rows k3, p to the last 3 sts, k3therwise stated)

2. Charts do not include the border sts.

3. Charts show RS only except for PART B, and PART D.2. For these charts, WS rows should be worked as k3, chart pattern, k3

4. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts. Do not join.

5. If you are using markers between each pattern repeat, please note that the stitch markers will have to be moved on some rows.
