I love Paintbox. It's a lovely yarn and lots of colours to choose from. I'm using it for a crochet cardigan, and with leftovers, I crochet blankets for the hospital. It's lovely. It never puckers and it makes the crocheting look professional.
I'm using it for an alphabet/numbers blanket for my great great nephew due in January - the first boy in 3 generations! The theme for the nursery is Safari, so I'm using greens, neutrals, blues, etc. I am also knitting wild animals. A sloth is completed so far!
The colour is nice, it’s soft to work with, and it seems to be value for money. I'm using it for a pullover top for layering in the colder weather to come. I am still in the planning stage.
The colours are beautiful, nice to knit with, and the price was reasonable. My 92 year old mum is knitting squares to keep her mind and hands busy. She is finding the yarn soft and comfortable to knit with. It is towards a blanket probably, but mainly to just keep her busy. She also has a rust colour I bought her to go with them. She likes Autumn colours.
The yarn was nice to knit with however I came across a knot join half way through the ball. Apart from that i was pleased with the product.
Love Paintbox yarns, they are my first choice but wish they did a soft multicolour yarn. Never had a bad experience with Lovecrafts, extremely helpful and quick delivery.

Love this wool, I’ve done 7 king size throws so far with it and it washes lovely too. Excellent value for money and such a choice of colours. Delivery is so fast too
I had previously ordered a value pack in the same colour and needed an extra pack to finish the blanket I was making. The wool does not split when crocheting and had a very slight sheen to it which is nice. It is really good value for money and I have ordered 3 addition value packs in different colours.
I have not started the project for which this yarn was purchased, however, I have used it to crochet previous projects and find it an excellent yarn. A generous selection of beautiful colours which are not washed out and the yarn does not pill or fray and works very smoothly.
