Product Description

Paintbox Yarns Simply DK is a 100% acrylic DK yarn, 302yds (276m) per ball, knitting to 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10cm on 4.00mm (US 6) needles; recommended crochet hook 4.00mm (F). Paintbox Yarns is our own brand, designed in house.

The palette is what sets it apart: brights, pastels and muted tones developed as one range, so shades chosen from opposite ends of it still sit together in a single project. That makes it a natural fit for striped and colorwork blankets, granny squares, amigurumi and children’s knits.

Acrylic keeps it machine washable and hard-wearing, and it takes a low tumble dry — worth having in anything made for a child.

Care: machine wash at 30°C, low heat tumble dry, cool iron, do not bleach.

Great colors for my projects

I like the colours available. I used scraps of another 3 colours. I use it for a jumper. It is not yet finished.

Perfect yarn for accessories

I have used Simply DK before in many projects. I love to crochet with DK yarns, and Simply DK is a very good choice. Mainly the price. I know it is a budget yarn, but it is a very nice budget yarn. It was a pleasure to work with the yarn, and Pansy Purple is a great color for the cap. I do a lot of accessories, and hats is one of my favorite accessories to make. Simply DK is just the right weight.
