Good value and easy to use for a beginner
I've used this several times for my beginner boho crochet projects. I love the bold colours, and the low cost is good for a beginner. The yarn is consistently easy for a beginner and quite forgiving.

I'm a newbie at fairisle, but I'm very pleased with the results. It's a lovely soft yarn to work with. Having so many colours to carry over was tricky, but the sheep hats were easier. The more I did, the easier it was. I would definitely recommend this yarn.
The Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran is beautiful yarn to work with. I was a bit apprehensive as I usually work in D.K., but this crocheted up beautifully. I use it for a cot blanket. It didn't split, which can be problematic with crochet. It hasn't been blocked yet. I just watched a tutorial online, and at some stage, I would love to work in cotton or a cotton mix in D.K., although I have so much wool here already to use up first.
It's the best yarn for mosaic crochet. It holds its shape and doesn't pull, making the color changes pop. I sell the blankets in the local market and they seem popular. My usual blankets are double bed sized, and I mix and match the colors as I go along. They are very complimentary, and most people think the work is very complex, but in reality, it's not.
I'm using it for an afghan. It’s nice quality, no splitting as with some yarns, uniform color, and no knots hidden in the middle of a skein. I ordered plenty so I won't run short. You are a consumer friendly company. I know there will be prompt service and satisfactory resolution of any problems I’ve encountered through the years, which are few. I thank you for being reliable, constant, and fair. Maybe 1/10. Just started.
I made a crochet blanket. The Paintbox Simply Aran is a nice weight for a blanket. The Paintbox yarn colors are so vibrant. I just trusted the process and it worked luckily.
I love the quality of the yarn, and the delivery is very quick. I'm using it for a blanket for my granddaughter. I use it for white on this occasion. It's working very well.
I like the fantastic value. I'm using it for a crochet baby blanket. I'm finding it's not the softest aran yarn but has good stitch definition. It works well for blankets, and it has great colour options.
I'm using it for a mosaic crochet blanket for Halloween. It's fantastic. It's not done yet.
This is my first time knitting with paintbox (Aran) yarn. It is lovely to work with and the Aran pattern stands out well. There have been no knots in the yarn either. I found the 20 ball pack to be excellent value and would certainly purchase in the future. I haven’t had the opportunity to wash yet but 🤞 when I do hopefully it will wash well. The only issue I had was with delivery. Having been notified the package would be delivered between specific hours on specific days I made myself...
