Great to knit with. The quality and softness make it ideal for all aran knits. A very affordable quality yarn. At the moment, I am making a wardrobe of clothes for a large soft toy. I like the large range of colours available and the consistency throughout each ball and across the colours. It's vital that there is consistency in weight/thickness across the different balls, and it has that. I'm making a rainforest theme blanket, so there are areas with subtle shades of green with bright parts in between. The weight of the wool means the blanket builds quickly.

I have used this make of yarn several times, and it always knits up well and is reasonably priced. I have tackled several ladies fashion projects with fairly complex patterns, and they always produce a good completed article with perfect tension. It must boil down to the fiber of the yarn.
This is my first time knitting with paintbox (Aran) yarn. It is lovely to work with and the Aran pattern stands out well. There have been no knots in the yarn either. I found the 20 ball pack to be excellent value and would certainly purchase in the future. I haven’t had the opportunity to wash yet but 🤞 when I do hopefully it will wash well.
