Love Crafts yarn - Paint Box DK - is my go-to yarn. It is easy to work with, the colors are steadfast, and the price cannot be beat. Shipping is quick, which is especially convenient when I've run out of yarn for a current project. Also, no matter how far apart I order a specific color, it remains true and I don't have to ensure I have the correct lot #.
Still knitting the cotton yarn. A good yarn will wash well. Then you can judge the quality.
I have had many wools, yarns and cottons from Love Craft for some considerable time. In general I have been delighted with the finished articles, however I was disappointed when I chose a DK cotton knitting yarn which was supposed to be for babies. I wanted to crochet a shawl for a new born, but when I actually worked with this yarn I found it far too hard to wrap such a tender baby in. Apart from that I have always had fantastic results - and love the choice of colours.
