Not impressed
It was my first time using this yarn and I was not impressed. It is very thin, too stretchy, and knits up inconsistently. The increases on the ends of the rows caused holes even though I tried two different increasing methods, undoing my work both times to try to see if I could solve the issue. I would not buy this yarn again and I do not recommend it for sweaters. I am using it for a child’s sweater and the pattern was made with a cotton DK.

Wonderful Soft Yarn
Extremely soft and easy to use for my crochet project, I'm so happy. I just kept squishing my project as I was working on it because I love how this yarn feels! I will absolutely get more the next time I need a cotton dk. I used it to make this sweater, and I'm going to make another one for my spouse.

I have purchased the pure cotton Paintbox to knit new born baby clothes, plus some for myself (not yet knitted mine). Its lovely and soft, perfect for a newborns delicate skin. Nice stich definition, so if you make errors it will show. Its nice and smooth to knit with. A super selection of colours. I am currently knitting a full baby pram set in 'Jewel.' Excellent yarn for amigurumi and small pieces - the yarn does not split and is the perfect thickness for detailed projects. Plus it comes in so many different colours.
I've been using various colours of this paintbox DK yarn for a large project recently, they're all fantastic. I always seem to create lots of fluff when working with cotton yarns but its minimal with this one, it knits up really nicely and the colours are true to what you order.
I've been loving using this DK cotton yarn recently - I'm currently working on a big and rather laborious project, so I'm going through a lot of yarn. Painbox yarns are always super sturdy and well spun, and the selection of colours is amazing.
