Product Details
This trio of cuddly owls are knitted predominantly in stockinette stitch, with garter stitch eyes, wings and beaks. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the owls are knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round). The owls photographed were knitted in acrylic 4 ply yarns, although you can use DK (double knitting/light worsted) if you prefer. There is no tricky colour-work to master here, as the eyes and beaks are knitted separately and sewn on. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
