This is a cute and cuddly design that is perfect for toddlers. Originally published in Knitting Magazine back in 2003, issue 1, I have now rewritten this pattern as it continues to be one of my most popular designs. I used Sirdar Denim Tweed as the main yarn for the garment photographed, however you can use any DK yarn that knits to the same tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm/4in using 4mm needles over stocking stitch - as Denim Tweed seems to have been discontinued! I suggest Stylecraft Life DK in a denim shade as a good alternative (note: Stylecraft Life comes in 100g balls, 298m/326yards per ball).
