When I had the original Gingerbread Men Mittens pattern worked up by a test knitter, she said she’d like thicker frosting on her cookies! I had already been thinking about making a Mrs. Gingerbread, so I worked up three more charts and two more mittens. Now you can choose from the Original Man, Thicker Frosting, Mrs. Bread, and unfortunately, Oh No! – a tragic accident. Or mix and match!
Techniques used: This pattern assumes understanding of knitting in the round, stranded colorwork and chart reading, and Kitchener stitch.
SIZE is easily increased by adding stitches between charts, and adding rows before or after chart.

With all the options/choices of cookies available, this is a ‘sweet’ pattern! Pun intended. I had started but needed to frog my mitt due to messing up… that will teach me to knit lace-weight when I’m tired /or distracted… sigh. It is such a cute pattern that I will end up getting to it eventually. My only suggestion is to ‘fix’ the thumb placement on the charts. I know it was mentioned somewhere, but it should be easy enough to fix for a paid pattern.
