Love this shawl - I’m not done but it is crocheting up quite quickly. The pattern is definitely intermediate. It IS correct - I have found I had to count carefully and I have unwound and re-crocheted a few rows due to a missed dc. I purchased 100% sheep wool (Aran 3 strands) and it is beautiful to handle. This definitely will have the appropriate weight when the project is complete! The pace picks up once the pattern is figured out - just increasing in numbers per row. I love it and can hardly wait to finish and then wear it!!! I will make the hood to attach. Super happy from start to almost finished.
This pattern was very easy to follow and was completed fairly quickly. I used the same yarn as in the pattern and it looks and feels amazing and warm.
Ive not finished making hooded shawl yet, you definitely have to concentrate. I’m not as experienced with crochet as I am Knitting, pattern is clear , i have had to watch a few clips to get the hang of a few stitches 😬
Relatively easy pattern to follow, crocheted up easy and fast I swapped the colour changes around as I thought the dark on the hood looked a bit heavy.
So far so good. Haven’t finished it yet, but so far the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Was able to find the same yarn used in the pic (different color, same yarn), and so far it looks just like the pic.
