Product Description

This hooded tringle warm and cozy shawl is perfect for fall, rainy days and chilly evenings, but irreplaceable during those snowy, winter days.

PDF pattern contains:

· Clear pattern instructions

· Instructions for the Hood

· Instructions on how to make tassels

· Photos where you might need them

The pattern is written using US crochet terminology. The Pattern was fully tested and tech edited.

Skill Level: Intermediate. The texture of the shawl is achieved mainly through front and back post stitches.

Yarn: #4 medium worsted yarn, used here: Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed, color 929 Glencoe (1 skein) and Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Aran With Wool, color 872 Barley (1 skein).

Hook: 6 mm US J-10

Gauge: 12 sts x 8 rows in dc = 10 cm (4”) square

Construction:The shawl is worked in one piece and without any seaming, unless you opt for a hooded version (in which case the hood is seamed on top of the shawl).

Finished Measurements: 193 cm (76”) long and 90cm (35.4”) wide without the hood.

Love the shawl -almost done!

Love this shawl - I’m not done but it is crocheting up quite quickly. The pattern is definitely intermediate. It IS correct - I have found I had to count carefully and I have unwound and re-crocheted a few rows due to a missed dc. I purchased 100% sheep wool (Aran 3 strands) and it is beautiful to handle. This definitely will have the appropriate weight when the project is complete! The pace picks up once the pattern is figured out - just increasing in numbers per row. I love it and can hardly...

The pattern was very easy to follow. Overall, I was pleased with how it turned out, although the weight of the hood does seem to pull the shawl off the shoulders. I might remove this. I would do the pattern again but probably just as a shawl.

Ive not finished making hooded shawl yet, you definitely have to concentrate. I’m not as experienced with crochet as I am Knitting, pattern is clear , i have had to watch a few clips to get the hang of a few stitches 😬

Quick and easy hooded shawl

Relatively easy pattern to follow, crocheted up easy and fast I swapped the colour changes around as I thought the dark on the hood looked a bit heavy.

So far so good. Haven’t finished it yet, but so far the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Was able to find the same yarn used in the pic (different color, same yarn), and so far it looks just like the pic.
