"The ocean beach which I frequent is bordered by dunes, sea grass, wild rose bushes and lots of deer along its north end. Through those dunes, there is a boardwalk to a nearly 200-year-old lighthouse.
Norfolk’s design was inspired by the many walks I’ve taken along that path. Its prim, raglan cardigan design with wide, flowing shawl collar, flared bodice and sleeves along with delicate waist shaping make this the perfect piece for an evening stroll (or when the air-conditioning gets turned up). Norfolk is worked in one piece, seamlessly, from the bottom-up.“
Construction Notes: The jacket is worked flat from hem to underarms; the sleeves are knitted in the round from cuff to underarm. Sleeves and body are then joined and worked back and forth to the neck. Stitches for the collar are picked up around the neckline, and the collar is shaped with short rows.
Sizing: To be worn with approximately 2” 5cm positive ease.
