My Precious Baby Blanket has been designed to be extremely versatile. By adding more squares it can be made big enough to fit a child's bed or even an adult's bed. Or make less squares and turn it into a lap blanket forthe elderly. The leaf pattern is raised and very tactile.
I've used crochet to outline the petalsand have included instructions onhow to do basic crochet but if crochet really isn't your thing you could use a simple chain stitch (instructions included) would look just as beautiful.
This pattern has full colour photos and easy to follow instructions throughout.
