Product Details
This is a pattern for an ornately cabled shawl. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for a scarf, (8 inches wide), and a Warm Pocket Shawl ((28 inches wide x 78 inches long), giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.
This shawl is knitted with light worsted weight. The shawl is approximately 20 1/2 inches x 74 inches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 1000 - 1200 yards. The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney. The stitches are Charted ONLY. Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .) There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
Any ligtht weight worsted or worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern. No crochet hooks are needed if you do not wish to edge the shawl.
