Miss Erio cowl
The idea for this cute little cowl came when I wanted to use up the beautiful yarn leftover from a larger project, but didn’t have enough to make a full sized cowl. It knits up quickly, and make a nice accessory suitable for any occasion and for gift giving.
A simple repetitive stitch pattern makes it easy for you to keep track on your stitches, and a small yardage required for this project opens the possibilities for you to find good use for that little skein of a luxurious yarn you bought just because you couldn’t walk away from such a beauty.
Lofty yarn in fingering or sport weight works well for this project. The sample was made using 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together (one strand is lace mohair and another is merino/silk lace weight yarn).
This pattern requires the use of some advanced techniques such as a provisional cast-on and knitted cast-on. The links to video tutorials are provided if you are not yet familiar with these techniques.
