Beautifully soft yarn and it comes in some lovely colours. I've bought several different Aran weight yarns from Lovecrafts now and the MillaMia is hands-down my favourite.
I have made a cowl, so I wanted something soft and warm. I also loved this colour. The yarn has knitted up beautifully, and the smoothness shows the cabling really well. It's sadly not for me, but a Xmas present for a friend.
I'm knitting an Aran jumper for my son-in-law in Australia. He loves the one I knitted previously for our daughter, his wife. It’s soft and non-scratchy. It’s lovely to knit with. The only problem is I need 4 more balls, but it's not in stock. Please bring it back!
While in Ireland, I bought 2 skeins of Aran wool. When I returned home, I thought to look for Aran wool at your site. The color was perfect to complement what I have, and the price was excellent. It’s just as described.
I am making icelandic sweater for my grandchildren. I'm learning how to carry the colors of yarn in the pattern. The yarn holds up under my need to undo and redo the color pattern to handle tension and carry on the yarn. The colors are lovely and blend well. It looks to me like the entire range of colors was blended to work together in any combination. I have used this type of yarn in my cable sweaters for my children. Beautifully soft, lovely colour (charcoal), easy to work with. I bought the yarn in three separate batches (the project took more 50gm balls of yarn than I expected!) and fortunately all three dye lots were the same. Would certainly buy it again. Haven’t washed it yet, but don’t anticipate any trouble.
It's beautiful wool and great to hit with. I bought a lot of this and made cable bobble hats. Stitch definition is superb.
This was a substitute yarn for one that has been discontinued. I used it to knit from a hat pattern by Debbie Stoller. It knitted up beautifully and probably better than the discontinued yarn. I just loved the colour and softness of the yarn and the hat looks brilliant.
Knitting a beautiful soft jumper, pattern says 100% cashmere so I’ve substituted it with 100% wool same weight and gauge and it knits up perfect.
