Many futuristic or science fiction fashions show designs with a metallic look, where the jewellery and the clothing are integrated. I was inspired to design a top which represents the intersection of garment and necklace. In keeping with the metallic theme, I chose a stainless steel yarn; as an alternative, a silk or silk-blend yarn will also provide the intended metallic sheen. It can be worn back-to-front, for a demure simple front and a dramatic back view. Two tops for the price of one!
**Hints and tips for working with lace weight, stainless steel yarn are found on my blog, Look for knitandtravelandsuch (dot) blogspot (dot) com /2014/04/april-news-designs-spring-discount
