1. Size: The mittens are 51 stitches and 59 rows (without ribbing). With recommended yarn, needles and gauge the mittens will be about 8 cm wide and 22 cm long.
For smaller mittens use fingering or sport yarn; for larger mittens use worsted weight and larger needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method. There are two chart options for the cuff: the 45-stitch option and the 48-stitch option. Choose the one you like best. The 48-stitch cuff is included in the main mitten chart.
