I found the pattern for this blanket in one of my grandmother's German stitch libraries. I adapted it a little, to create this lovely cable lace blanket pattern. I call it Mariele's Cable Lace Blanket, in honor of my grandmother, who was an amazing crafty lady. The pattern comes in three different sizes: Stroller: approx. 30 " x 35" or 76 cm x 89 cm Receiving: approx. 40" x 40" or 102 cm x 102 cm Crib: approx. 45" x 60 " or 114 cm x 152 cm It is made with Aran weight yarn, also known as Worsted, Afghan or 10 ply, and will knit up quite quickly.
