One single strand of pure merino superwash wool is twisted to create Malabrigo Mecha yarn, a bulky weight yarn that knits up on US 10 (6mm) - US 11 (8mm) needles. The colorways are, as you would expect from the gorgeous Malabrigo palette, absolutely stunning blends and semi-solids. Made in Peru, Mecha is beautifully soft and the perfect comfort yarn for a cozy sweater or cardigan. Malabrigo yarn is hand-dyed, meaning that each beautiful skein is unique. As a result, there may be variations in color between skeins of the same shade.

Really lovely yarn. I got a bit tangled with it as it's not in a ball and I was double knitting with either end. Still got a tangle to deal with but the yarn itself if adorable. I bought a small choice of this make. Will be back for more. Stunning colours. :)
I tried this yarn because a beanie pattern I love uses something similar in their demo video. I have other yarns from this co that are true to weight but not this one. While the yarn is beautiful it is more of a four weight.
I have yet to try crocheting with this yarn. But upon receiving it, I can clearly see that it is of excellent quality and is just truly with beautiful colors.
This is lovely and soft to knit with. I am really enjoying knitting a cardigan with it and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. The colour is beautiful, exactly what I wanted.
