I like it because it makes a finished product with texture and softness. The part I don't like is that the working yarn clumps up as you knit and frequently has to be smoothed out.

98% Acrylic 2% Polyester, 185yds (169m)/170g (6oz), Bulky
Product Description
A perfectly reliable acrylic, polyster yarn with a textured ripple. Lion Brand Homespun is bulky weight, and knits and crochets surprisingly lightly. The ripple lifts the simplest stitch. The "painterly" shades also subtly self stripe. Knits up on US 10 (6mm) needles or a K (6.50mm) hook.

Lovely to work with. Beautifully soft and light with interesting colour development.
Great value
soft and easy to work with - looks sort of shiny
Improvement of website accessibility needed
It’s a good yarn, that’s all there is to say about it.
Love the yarn!
Great, vibrant colours!
This yarn knits up into the softest blankets! I love it, and so do all my cousins who got blankets for Christmas last year!
Homespun makes the best shawls
I love this yarn for shawls. It's so soft and warm.
I use the Lion Brand Homespun yarn almost exclusively for my knitting projects. It’s soft, it’s acrylic (so not allergy inducing), washable, and absolutely lovely!! The picture I included is the Lagoon yarn. I’m still working on my current project with this new yarn.
