I love using Lion Brand Homespun. It knits up easily, has the most beautiful colours to choose from and is machine washable. It can also be tumble dried!

I bought this yarn to knit a duplicate of a hat that I made six years ago. This yarn does not withstand heavy use. Eventually, the fibers stretch out of shape and form a dense 'halo' around the garment. That said, the color variegations are wonderful and they do not fade with repeated hand washing. Also, this chunky boucle yarn is VERY stiff. Prepare for a bit of a workout, even on large needles.
